Uninterrupted chest compression CPR UCC-CPR ; has been advocated as an alternative to standard single rescuer CPR for laypersons STDCPR ; because it would be easier to perform and deliver substantially more compressions per minute. This study was designed to compare chest compression performance in UCCCPR and STD-CPR immediately, six months, and 18 months after training. In this prospective study, 53 first year medical students were taught AHA standard CPR and UCC-CPR.
